VERBUM VOLANS · LEGAL INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. Who is responsible for your information?

This notice explains how personal information is handled in connection with the Verbum Volans website, the Ready to Be a Dad digital-product funnel, purchases, delivery and customer support. The data controller is:

Stefania Biaghetti, operating under the name Verbum Volans
Via Vittorio Veneto 9, 14010 San Paolo Solbrito (AT), Italy
Email: support@verbumvolans.org

Verbum Volans is the name under which the seller operates; it is not identified here as a separate incorporated company.

2. Information we process

  • Contact and order information: your name, email address, purchased items, order reference, amount, currency, payment status and information needed for refunds or legally required records.

  • Support information: the messages and attachments you choose to send. Please do not send payment-card numbers, identity documents or health information unless specifically necessary and requested through an appropriate channel.

  • Technical and security information: IP address, browser and device information, page requests, timestamps and operational logs generated by the website and its service providers. These data can be personal information; they are not automatically anonymous.

  • Consent and advertising information: cookie preferences and, when advertising tracking is enabled with the required permission, browser identifiers and information about page visits and purchase-related events.

  • Payment information: Stripe or PayPal processes payment credentials. We receive the transaction information needed to manage the order; we do not receive your complete card number or card security code through the ordinary checkout.

Information comes from you, your interaction with the website and the providers involved in payments, delivery, consent management and advertising measurement.

• Website interaction information: when Microsoft Clarity is enabled, information about pages visited, clicks, scrolling and navigation, together with browser, device and online identifier data, used to create heatmaps and session replays.

3. Why we use information and our legal bases

  • Orders, payments, delivery links, refunds and purchase support: to take steps at your request and perform the purchase contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

  • Required fiscal, accounting and regulatory records: to meet applicable legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).

  • Website security, fraud prevention, non-contractual enquiries and handling legal claims: our legitimate interests in maintaining a secure service, responding to enquiries and protecting legal rights, subject to your rights and interests (Article 6(1)(f)).

  • Non-essential advertising cookies and Meta Pixel tracking: consent (Article 6(1)(a)), together with applicable cookie rules. Refusing this tracking does not prevent you from buying the PDFs.

  • Recording your privacy choices: to respect your choices and meet applicable consent/accountability requirements (Article 6(1)(c)).

  • Microsoft Clarity analytics: when enabled, we use consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) to analyse website interactions and improve usability. Refusing or withdrawing analytics consent does not prevent you from purchasing or receiving the PDFs.

The stated GDPR bases apply where GDPR governs the processing. Other applicable privacy laws may impose additional consent or other requirements.

4. Order emails and marketing

For this funnel, email is used for order-related communications, delivery links and customer support. These service messages are separate from promotional subscriptions. Purchasing does not, by itself, sign you up to a promotional newsletter. An abandoned-cart marketing sequence is not currently offered in this funnel.

If we introduce promotional email communications, we will provide the relevant information, obtain consent where required and provide a way to unsubscribe. We will not treat acceptance of the purchase terms as consent to unrelated marketing.

5. Service providers and recipients

  • Systeme.io: hosting the funnel and checkout, managing order/contact information and sending delivery emails.

  • Stripe and PayPal: processing payments, refunds, transaction security and their own regulatory obligations. Their roles may include acting as independent controllers.

  • CookieYes: managing cookie choices and related consent information.

  • Meta: receiving information through Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and related advertising processing when the necessary consent has been given. This may link website activity to information Meta already holds, subject to Meta's own policies and applicable law.

  • Professional advisers, competent authorities or other legally entitled recipients: where necessary for legal obligations, disputes or protection of rights.

  • Microsoft Clarity: when enabled, we use this service to understand how visitors interact with our website through heatmaps and session replays, including clicks, scrolling and page navigation. This helps us identify technical problems and improve the website. Microsoft receives the interaction and technical data collected through the service. For further information, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/privacy/privacystatement

Provider information: Systeme.io, Stripe, PayPal, CookieYes , Meta and Microsoft Clarity / Microsoft Privacy Statement.

6. International processing

We are based in Italy. Some of the services used for payments, consent management, advertising measurement and, when enabled, Microsoft Clarity analytics may process personal information outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, including in the United States.

Systeme.io states that its service data is hosted on Amazon Web Services servers in Ireland and remains within the European Union. Other providers have international operations and their processing locations depend on the service involved.

Where international-transfer safeguards are required, the relevant arrangements may include adequacy decisions, European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses and applicable UK transfer safeguards. CookieYes incorporates Standard Contractual Clauses into its Data Processing Agreement for relevant restricted transfers. PayPal describes the use of Binding Corporate Rules for certain transfers within its group. Stripe and Microsoft also describe reliance on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for transfers covered by their respective certifications.

The applicable protection depends on the recipient, destination and processing involved; not every mechanism applies to every transfer. Further information is available in the providers’ privacy notices and data-processing terms.

You may contact support@verbumvolans.org to request information about transfers affecting your personal data and how to obtain a copy of the relevant safeguards, subject to lawful redactions.

7. How long information is kept

Retention is limited by purpose. Order and transaction records are kept for the period required by applicable fiscal/accounting law and, where necessary, the relevant legal-claims period. Support correspondence is kept while the matter is being handled and for any further period needed to document the resolution or handle a dispute. Consent records are kept for as long as needed to honour and demonstrate the relevant choice. Technical records and advertising identifiers follow the applicable service settings and cookie lifetimes.

When information is no longer needed for these purposes, it should be deleted or anonymised in the systems we control, subject to legal preservation requirements and the expiry of backup cycles. Providers may have their own retention duties for processing they independently control. You can request further information from support@verbumvolans.org.

Microsoft Clarity generally retains session recordings for 30 days. Favourite recordings and a sample of recordings may be retained for up to 9 months. Heatmap data is retained for up to 9 months. These periods are separate from the lifetimes of cookies used by the service.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on the law and circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Some information may still have to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve claims.

Contact support@verbumvolans.org to exercise your rights. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law. GDPR requests are normally handled within one month; lawful extensions will be explained.

You may complain to the Italian supervisory authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or another competent authority. UK users may contact the Information Commissioner's Office. This does not prevent you using other rights or remedies available where you live.

9. Your choices, required information and security

Name, email and the information required by the payment provider are needed to complete and deliver a purchase. Without necessary information, we may be unable to process the order. Optional advertising consent is not a condition of purchase. For cookies and similar technologies, see our Cookie Policy.

No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. We are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards to the information under our control. This statement does not waive any legal security obligations.

The funnel is directed to adults purchasing educational resources, not to children as account holders. Please contact us if a child has submitted personal information that should be removed.

10. Changes and contact

We will update this notice when our processing changes and provide additional notice or obtain new consent where required. Materially new purposes will not be authorised merely by changing this page. For questions, contact support@verbumvolans.org.
