1. Seller and scope

These terms apply to purchases of the Ready to Be a Dad downloadable PDF toolkit and the optional She's Changing. What Do I Do? PDF companion guide through this funnel. They do not constitute terms for any future app, map package, subscription or online service.
2. What you purchase
The main offer includes the Ready to Be a Dad PDF guide and the five tools described on the sales page: The Ready Dad Checklist, Visitors Without Stress, Baby Meets Pet, First Nights Survival Plan and Quick Reference Cards. The companion guide is included only if you select and pay for it at checkout.
These are English-language digital files, not printed books or physical goods. You need an email address, internet access to retrieve the files and a device/software capable of opening PDF files. Printing is optional and at your expense. Product descriptions and any specific promises shown when you order form part of the purchase.
3. Price, payment and your order
Prices are stated in US dollars (USD). The total amount payable, including applicable taxes and selected extras, must be shown before you submit the paid order. Any currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees charged separately by your bank or payment provider are governed by that provider's terms.
Payment is processed through Stripe or PayPal. You must be legally able to make the purchase and authorised to use the payment method. Optional extras require your active selection. This PDF purchase is a one-time purchase and does not create a subscription or recurring charge.
The purchase contract is formed when payment succeeds and we confirm the order. If a technical error results in payment without delivery or confirmation, contact us so that we can investigate and provide the purchased content or an appropriate refund. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
4. Delivery and download
After successful payment, a download link is sent to the email address entered at checkout. Delivery is intended to be immediate, subject to payment confirmation and normal processing or email delays. Check your spam folder if necessary and contact support@verbumvolans.org if the link does not arrive or work.
Save a copy of the PDFs on your own device. Your licence to keep and use downloaded files for personal purposes has no fixed expiry. This is not a promise of permanent hosting, a permanently active download link, lifetime customer support or access to future online services. This provision does not remove your rights to delivery or remedies if content is missing, faulty or not as described.
5. Our 14-day money-back guarantee
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase and keep the digital material already received. This guarantee covers the main guide, all included bonuses and the optional paid companion guide purchased through this funnel. No proof that you have read the guide or completed a checklist is required.
Email support@verbumvolans.org within 14 days, using the purchase email address or including the order reference. Tell us whether you want the whole order refunded or only a separately paid item. We will refund the amount paid for the requested purchase or item, including any associated tax collected, without a cancellation fee.
The refund will be issued through the original payment method within 14 days after receiving your request and the information reasonably needed to identify the order. Your payment provider may require additional processing time before the credit appears. Bank-imposed conversion differences or fees outside our control are governed by your provider's terms, subject to applicable law.
After a refund under this guarantee, you may continue to use the files you received for personal purposes. Permission to keep them does not authorise resale, public sharing or distribution.
6. Statutory withdrawal and digital-content rights
Our voluntary guarantee is additional to mandatory consumer rights. The 14-day period above is not a time limit on claims for faulty, missing or misdescribed content where the law gives you longer or different rights.
Where you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital-content contract, any loss of that right on immediate supply requires the legally necessary express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation. We do not rely on your simply browsing the website or reading these terms as that consent.
Where those conditions are met, immediate supply may end the statutory withdrawal right, but our separate 14-day money-back guarantee still applies. Where the conditions are not met, the statutory right is not treated as waived. To exercise a withdrawal right, send an unambiguous statement to the seller by email or post. You may use the following optional model:

Any statutory refund or other remedy will be handled within the applicable legal time limits, which take precedence over inconsistent wording in these terms.
7. Personal-use licence
You receive a non-exclusive, personal, non-commercial licence to download, store and print the purchased PDFs for your own use. Copyright and other intellectual-property rights remain with the respective rights holders.
You may not resell the files, upload them publicly, distribute copies to third parties, sublicense them or commercially exploit them without written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits the use. This restriction does not override mandatory statutory exceptions.
8. Updates, new editions and future products
Your purchase includes the files and any updates expressly included in the offer accepted at checkout. It does not include a general entitlement to free lifetime updates, future editions, apps, map packages, subscriptions or additional content.
New products, optional enhanced editions and additional packages may be sold separately at a clearly stated price. Updates, corrections or security measures that applicable law requires for content or services already purchased will not be withheld or charged for in a way that defeats those rights.
If an earlier accepted offer expressly promised free updates or other benefits, these terms do not retrospectively remove that promise.
9. Educational purpose
The toolkit provides general parenting education and organisational resources. It is not personalised medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and does not guarantee an individual outcome. Consult qualified professionals about pregnancy, childbirth, feeding, infant health or other clinical concerns. In an emergency, contact your local emergency service.
This explanation of scope does not exclude responsibility for misleading claims, defective content or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Problems, liability and mandatory protections
Contact support@verbumvolans.org about delivery, content, payment or refund problems. We will consider the issue and provide any remedy required by the contract and applicable consumer law. Use of a third-party hosting or payment service does not, by itself, remove the seller's obligations to you.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Consumers in Australia retain applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees, including remedies for failures that cannot be excluded. Consumers in New Zealand retain applicable Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act protections. UK, Canadian and US consumers retain mandatory protections applicable in their jurisdiction. The precise remedies depend on the relevant law and circumstances.
11. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by Italian law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the laws that apply in their country or state of residence. No clause requires you to bring a claim exclusively in Italy where applicable law gives you the right to use another competent court.
The version accepted for your order governs that purchase. Later changes apply to later purchases unless a lawful change is necessary and appropriately notified; they do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or accepted promises.
